You need a reliable and economical method for removing specific metals or other contaminants from your wastewater. The changing permit limits, varying production conditions and increasing costs, are placing a strain on your existing wastewater and groundwater treatment equipment.
Selective Ion Exchange (SIX) offers a solution by providing a simple, flexible, and cost efficient technology. Although, each application differs, exhaustive bench scale tests and onsite treatability tests allow ProChem’s experienced scientists and engineers to determine the correct technology for successful treatment. Our experience with a wide range of industrial and groundwater applications allows us to match your needs to the proper resin technology.
Moreover, because the SIX process is based upon the size of the container, it it is easy to resize a system as your needs change. If a process requires additional flow, temporarily or permanently, simply add additional containers to the existing process.
Selective ion exchange (SIX) is especially suited for use in industrial water reuse systems. Because the resins are regenerated off site, the various contaminates removed by the system leave the customer site and are managed by ProChem’s permitted regeneration facility. This offers an excellent technology for reusing water and reducing or eliminating discharge of wastewater, reducing water costs and environmental compliance costs (laboratory testing costs, sewer charges, permit fees, etc).
The ProChem System Integration Team designs the system, installs the required components, performs startup and trains your staff in the proper operation of the SIX system. ProChem delivery will transport and install fresh containers to your site, and remove exhausted media to our facility for regeneration. Moreover, ProChem service technicians will handle maintenance issues.
